AMAZON ALEXA X PETE DAVIDSON X NIKKI GLASER X LIL WAYNE
I’m blessed to love what I do for a living and the people I get to work with. This shoot was no different Nikki Glaser + Pete Davidson were incredible to photograph for Amazon. Did you see them both on SNL this weekend? It was so funny. The best part about these projects is the team I am fortunate enough to collaborate with to bring these shoots to life.
Now I have a bit more of a story for the Lil Wayne portion of this shoot.
My first time seeing Lil Wayne perform was freshman year of college at the Atrium in ATL, it was a wild night. A few months later, I snuck into a 21+ SpelHouse alumni homecoming party at Studio Central by carrying a crate of records for Don Cannon, not because I thought/knew Weezy was in there, but because I was trying to party with the old heads and somehow ended up playing pool with Lil Wayne that night. We had to be the youngest people in the club.
15 years later, I was shooting a small, intimate 30th birthday party for an NBA legend, Lil Wayne performed, and I grabbed a few shots of the set. Fast-forward 10 years, and I earned the opportunity to shoot Lil Wayne for Amazon Alexa.
He said it best, “Now that’s how you let the beat build…”
